I am considering a new G.P.S for our trike, we currently have a 2820 Garmin.
I want to stay with a Garmin, how do the newer Garmin's connect to the Gold Wing? With the 2820 I had to use the Kennedy Tech. module to hear the GPS through the head-sets. What is needed to do the same with the newer Garmin?

I had my 550 Zumo and my present 665 Zumo hooked into the Aux plug on my 2012 Wing. If I want to hear the GPS through the head set all I have to do is put the Aux feed through the head set.

The Zumo 665 is pretty much plug and play. It comes with everything you need to get it up and working. I think I took about 1/2 hour to hook mine up and secure all the wires.

Have the 550 and found on a wing world site a device that allows you to hear your radio and GPS at the same time. When the GPS talks, it mutes the radio. It works thru the intercom port. It is plug and play and works perfectyly.
Wish I could remember the company for you but it is out there... and cost is very little.
