I have a Friend, yes, that is possible, who just changed his front tire. We have an ongoing discussion about the width of the front tire. He has a Honda with a Champion kit on it. I argue that the narrower the front tire the easier it is to steer as it has a quicker response. He says that the wider the tire is the easier it is to steer. He went from a 130 to a 140 width.
So, what do you people say?

If both trikes are equal then given the narrower tire has a smaller footprint then I would think it would be easier to turn and cut thru snow better because since it is putting the same amount of weight on a smaller area the ground pressure would be more which would in turn give it a better bite on the pavement ... But the wider tire having more rubber on the road would have a larger contact point to the ground and seems like that would help keep it straight better ... Also might have a better grip on the dry given the bigger footprint and less tendency to slip ... A lot would depend on tread design and composition/softness of the tire and the sidewalls too ...

But then again I could be wrong ...
