Just curious what projects you all have on tap prior to riding season.

I am close to 5,000. I started my 5,000 mile service checklist last fall & have it 50% complete.

As far as projects, I have to install my DK tank lift kit(front & rear) & am waiting till I run the tank near empty.

Besides that, I just want to give the wheels a good cleaning/polishing, when the weather stabilizes a bit & finish that 5,000 service checklist off.

I have been using the Lucas Spray Speed wax & really like it on paint, chrome & windshield.

It really is easy on/off & in 3 minutes, I can do all painted surfaces.

So, lets here from you all. What do you have cooking?:clapping:

I did pretty much everything I plan to do last year. I installed DK Customs Stage 1 air cleaner, Power Vision with tune, extra oil cooler, filter relocation kit, tank lift kit with air deflectors, sundowner seat, back rest, Love Jugs, trailer hitch and luggage rack. I also bought an Aluma MCT cargo trailer and a Roll a Home camper. My goal was heat abatement, comfort and greater touring capability. If I do any more it will probably be suspension upgrades but no plans for that now.

I had everything serviced before winter at 3,300 miles after a 2,300 mile trip pulling a trailer. I had the extra oil cooler and filter relocation kit put on then. Now I just need to plan a few camping trips and ride it. She's been sitting in the garage waiting for warmer weather. I'll take it to the dealer for a good bikini trike wash and then I'll detail and wax it.

That's great Jack. How hard was it to get the cover off to get to the clutch cylinder to bleed it?

That's good to know.

That video I watched was the same, just heat shields.

My 2 local auto parts stores will loan you a vacuum bleeder for a deposit & when I bleed my cars this spring, I may go ahead & do the Freewheeler, so I can get on a schedule and know it's good for 2 years.

I have to admit I'm getting lazy and like this stuff a lot. I'm just not sure if it has good rust protection or not but I'm using it anyway. Especially good for quick clean up.

I agree with you. It makes my vivid black paint look like it's wet. I'm not sure it advertises itself for rust protection, I'll have to check.

I plan on a new Trike

I had my 2015 set up the way I liked it,8K miles: A lot of DK customs so it would run cooler; new bars and more!

It was about $4k of add ons according to Progressive Ins.

Yep my 2015 amber whisky was totaled! Excellent and fast pay out from Progressive!

I will be While healing with a C1 and L3,4 and 5 Fractures for a few month's

So I plan on a new trike when I can get back on!

Sucks but Hey I'm still here!

Glad to hear you are going to recover OK and plan on getting a new trike David. The bright spot is you get to buy a new trike and have the fun of setting it up the way you want! Something to look forward to. Post pictures when you get the new one. Speedy recovery!
