Fascinating fireworks show across the far pasture. One of the new homeowners has been shooting off fireworks. Wonder what his insurance carrier is gonna say when they come out to assess the damage. :D Dumb ass set his new home on fire. Not much the rural fire dept could do. No county water lines ........ No fire hydrants. Where're the damn marshmallows when I want them ................

 Fire dept still dealing with hot spots ............. Betting at least 1 crew will be on site all night. It has been very dry and they can't afford any flair ups. :gah:

Tonight sounded like a war going on. Last night wasn't so bad. The 4th will be armageddon. Recent rains have been a Godsend for the community. I hope all of you have a safe and stress free Independence Day.

As a retired leo, what gets to me are the unnecessary deaths caused by fools firing guns into the air .............. What goes up comes down. :( For some crazy reason, last night was quiet. Dreading tonight though. Friend of mine is one of our county dispatchers and is real good about keep us updated by back channel.

Neighbors are setting them off here, CV19 stopped the county from setting them off and people going to see them. The people are putting on the show. :clapping:
