As many times over the years as Mitzie and I have stayed in Crossville (...usually racing R/C Cars and "time strapped"), or passin' through, we have missed this "Old Jewel" of a Restaurant right downtown in the "old part of Town". It is on 4th street right off Hwy 127 beside the Old Courthouse. It is the Forte Restaurant specializing in Italian, Steak, and Seafood. We also observed some "Gigantic Burgers" goin' to another table also. they have Great "scratch-made" Recipes, Good Prices, and Too much Food per serving. I had Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast with Tortellini in Tomato/Cheese Sauce...
Mitzie had Spaghetti with Meatballs.....
Both came with really good Salads, and the Vegetable of the day (...this day it was Green Beans), 2 small loaves of really good Dark Rye Bread, and Your Drinks.....
It is located in a really Old 1800's-ish Building that is renovated to keep it's original "time period flair".....
OK, that statement about "too much Food"...Mitzie is havin' the rest of Her Spaghetti today for Lunch...Mine "might have" gotten eaten to "completion" at Forte's...
