Have a sportster and had converted to trike this winter the local H-D dealer has not done many conversions so did not have many ideas for my questions am missing right leg so wanted to move rear foot brake to left side and dealer said had never heard of such a thing does anyone have idea on where could get any information on such a mod

The difference is, the brake pad was not moved. Both the front and rear brakes were operated off of the one brake lever on the bars. May give you some good ideas.

anything is posible, man. my friend had never built a trike for a one-armed guy either, but he knew what it meant to me and he made it happen. mine has linked brakes on the right foot, left foot clutch, left hand throttle, and electric shifter. just because they have never heard of it doesn't mean that it can't be done. forget the dealer.find a reputable indy and let them get creative with it.
wizard's idea is a good one. consider moving the rear brake to the lever and linking them both. i'm sure you'll hear a bunch of people talk about the negatives of linked brakes, but if it's what you need then just ignore them. take your time and learn the limits of your ride and you will be good to go.
