WOW! After @ 60,000 miles on the '09 Tri-Glide I got to know the good and bad about it pretty well. The 2015 FLRT is a huge improvement in the brakes, parking brake and the handling department. I had no complaints about the handling on the '09. The front fork upgrade really was an excellent idea. Brakes are way better than the '09's. She stops real quick. The ride is more or less the same. 180 miles on it yesterday. Sundowner seat is ok. Not as good as a Mustang but will do for now. I think I might change the handle bars this coming winter with 14" apes. Will see one I get a different seat on it. The 20" windshield is perfect for me. Love having the wind in my face again. Reminds me of riding my Heritage, which was my favorite Harley.

Pretty much how I felt when we picked up the 'Free. Over 50,000 miles on my '09 Tri. It was a fun scoot, the Freewheeler is a lot 'funner'. We are off to Phoenix, Az. next week to visit friends. It will be just over 1000 trip, looking forward to putting some miles on the scoot.

My heritage was my favorite bike too

I loved my dyna but my heritage was a great bike and I missed the floorboards. Seems like the freewheeler trike is the best of all three.. comfort like heritage and power like dyna. Except for checking the cam chain tensioners every few thousand miles the H.O. 103 looks to be a great motor. I was looking through the S.E. racing parts catalog and a lot of the heavy duty stuff is included in the trike. Pretty pleased about that . I have been saying for years that H.D. should put some of this stuff in our motors stock. Now if they would just take out some of the slop in the TC A motor crankshaft we would be set. Then you could run gear cams and never worry about it again.

Just wanted to say thank you for your service in Vietnam. My nephew is currently deployed though I can't say where do to security concerns. I am very proud of him. He is in the air force and loves it.
