Fender Bras

Has anyone installed fender bras from brasfortrikes on roadsmith HTS ? Thanks in advance...

Unfortunately we don't offer fender bras for the HTS models at this time, only clear film. However, there have been a handful of customers who have had some custom made by an upholstery shop that end up looking pretty good while providing ample protection on the body.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply RS, The fender bras I was asking about are the ones by Blueridge Apparel For Trikes @ www.brasfortrikes.com. I was off on my wording in original post:Shrug:

I haven't used any of them yet ..... but .... I am very close to placing an order with them for my '99 GL1500SE with a CSC Sport trike kit installed. I have exchanged emails and pics with them for a while and they have been very good to work with. Not a customer as of yet so take it for what its worth.

Personally, I don't like the bras on anything. They trap moisture and dirt behind them and can get really grungy and damage paint if not maintained; which I don't want to do. I have one on my cargo trailer. UGH.

I prefer either the clear plastic such as 3M paint protector or, I 've seen trikes that had their "bras" painted on the bed liner to match or compliment paint color. A local here has a CSC with running boards and bras don't with matching liner and it looks really cool, protects the bike and require no more maintenance than occasional washing. YMMV

I'm with mhgoldwing, I don't like the looks of the fender bras and are more pain then their worth.
What I do religiously is keep a good coat of wax on the front section of my HTS Roadsmith.
Bugs, tar, and any road dust wipe right off, easy peasy. ThumbUp
