My old two wheelers never had a WS or Fairing. My trike has a Memphis Fats WS. Wondering what the practical difference is between a WS and Fairing?

.....and my only complaint this time of year with a Fairing or Lotsa' Body Work (My Gold Wing Trike) is H-E-A-T, as in "Hot Rider". I rode Mitzie's "windshield only" Aero Trike yesterday...amazin' how much cooler I was...."but"....rain, cold, buffeting, etc. .....Fairing is the way to go.......:wtg:

Waiting to see some Fairings mounted on Yamaha Roadstars before I decide... I had an Ol Pal mount a Harley Fairing on his Kawasaki 1500 Classic and liked the look (like it was made for it) but some of the Aftermarket ones I've seen have that afterthought look to them. I know the Fairing is preferred by most due to the comfort it provides the Rider.
