Has anyone put an extended and lower brake lever on a Freewheeler? I had one on my 2005 CVO but can't find the receipt to know where I bought it. It moved the pedal forward and lower so it was not right in the middle of the floorboard. The one in the HD catalog only moves the pedal forward an inch.

Also need a trailer hitch for my Freewheeler. Don't want to pull a trailer but I have a Rivco luggage rack and bag that slides into a receiver hitch and would like to have this extra luggage capacity for long trips.

Thanks,

Thanks FLRT. That looks like what I am looking for. I will check it out.

I have not done the trailer hitch - maybe someday....

Sorry,

(I did just order the lift kit from DK though - thought that should come first.......)

Let us know how the lift kit works out.

The DK Custom Lift Kit has arrived, but I have yet to install it.

The Freewheeler in its stock stance seems to sit "up-hill" a bit

The DK Custom lift kit will level it out in its stance by lifting the back-end about 1 to 1.5 inches.

I more or less wanted that change in stance....

I will get back to you when I get it installed.

Brake Pedal

I am still looking for an extended brake pedal. Softbrake seems to be on the side lines. Their web site is a mess, and they say they will ship in 11-14 days. I have run out of ideas as to what else will work. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear that. I got my extend pedal from them without issue......

I have also been trying to find a hitch for this. Not for a trailer but for a small bike rack to carry my light weight folding wheelchair. I don't want to fab one up and void warranty but if one don't come available soon I will.

Any hitch you install has the chance of voiding the warranty if the dealer tattles on you, or a Harley rep was to see it and take down the vin to flag the warranty.

I was just on the Dennis Kirk site and they have one listed from Krome Werks (part# 720695) thats supposed to fit the FW for $266.00.

They have updated this part and now say it does not fit the Freewheeler. I just went to order it and saw they have removed Freewheeler FLRT from the fitment list and when you put in 2015 Freewheeler it says it does not fit. Just wanted to update here.

A dealer or service manager can not void the warranty. Only a HD rep can.
it is a possibility the dealer can put pressure on a rep but only a rep can tag it.
my dealer told me if I have a trailer hitch with a rep being called for warranty work he said take it off.
I need one for a luggage rack. Pakit rack

The dealer can call attention to the hitch with either HD or a rep, either way it isn't going to end well.
