Exhaust wrap or not?

Would it be any benefit to wrap my vw exhaust?

Pros:

-Reduces heat radiated to surrounding components, at least to some degree.
-Most importantly, it just plain looks cool!

Cons:

-Tends to be cost prohibitive.

Just my opinion, of course. That and six bits might get ya coffee!

I think you would be better to get the system ceramic coated. I had mine done by Jet Hot. It will cost more but it only has to be done once whereas the wrap will need to be replaced periodically and it also holds moisture.
