For those of you who own or thinking about GoPro HD, look what I found...

Even though I have not purchased GoPro HD yet, I wanted to make sure that when I do, I'll have the best mount for it. Therefore, just to make sure the mount is still available I purchased Scott's mount now $59.95 shipped. I find it to be excellent (fit & quality). Very easy to work with and it looks great. IMO, definitely beats RAM mount solution. For those of you who are contemplating on which mount to buy, here are some photos of the way it looks mounted to the windshield.

If you are interested in this mount, Scott's email address is: fire.up@live.com

Mike: Is there a web site? Does this mounting location interfere with windscreen adjustment? Thks

Saltywheels, I don't think there is a website where you can purchase this mount. I think Scott has a very small operation in CA and makes them in his house and that IMO is good for us.

There is no interference with windscreen adjustment at all. All you'll need to do is loosen the mount and slide it up or down when you adjust the windscreen, than retighten the mount. It takes few seconds to do that.

If you have specific questions, or like to purchase this mount, do what I did and email Scott Raines directly at fire.up@live.com. I'm sure you'll be very happy with this product and his responsiveness.

I have a GoPro HD and use it with many, many mounts.
Here is good post that reviews them ...

I like the helmet mount the best because you can look around and get nice video of the passing
senery and not just the road ahead.

Rob, does Gopro Hd come with the helmet mount? Do you by any chance have a close up photo with your GoPro HD mounted onto your helmet?

Well I got the Motorsport HD version which came with a few double
sticky mounts and a suction cup mount. But I also bought an extra
kit that came with a few more sticky mounts and low/high mounts.
The sticky ones come in two types. One for curved surfaces and one for flat.
In the picture the square cornered sticky is the curved mount and the curved
cornered one is the flat surface mount. I took one of the flat surface sticky
mounts and stuck it to a ram/ball flat mount (see picture). This way I can
use it on ANY of my ram mounts. I have one ram mount that uses a hose
clamp type of system. With this mount I can mount it any where.
Once I clamped it to my rear turn signal bracket and faced camera
backwards and used my flip video camera. A good explaination of
mounts can be seen in this video ...

Here are some more pictures ....
