Engine Guard

Has anyone put the new engine guard on their freewheeler 49000105. Its a short one that fits a road king. I was going with the mustache bar, but this one looks better being lower on the bike.

I really like the look of these short ones but don't see that they have one for the freewheeler. I do have the mustache on my FW, and agree with the less bulky look you are trying to achieve. I would certainly check for non-harley bars as well. Ride safe, Ron

I ordered the shorter black version and added lowers to mine.

Easy as pie if you have the right hardware. Package top bolts too long. I went to Ace hardware got some chrome shorter ones an the bottom side bolts too. i am going to find some anti slip traction tape tomorrow for the top of the bar where my feet will sit. The tape has that sand feel to it, like stairs.

Looks great! I would of really considered those if I knew they fit. Harley really missed the ball on this one. Ride safe, Ron
