Searched through all the earbud-related forum posts already and didn't find any related answers to this...
Just got a set of Cardo Scala Q3's. Love the functionality, but I'm hard of hearing in the first place, and going from halfshell to 3/4 helmet, get irritated by the added wind noise anyway. I'm going to go with earbuds, but have one quick question: if I get a set with the inline mic switch, will that interfere with the Scala functionality at all? Don't want to have to reach up and find that little button when I get an incoming call or what have you.
From what I've read so far, looks like Skullcandy buds should work just fine and not break my pocket. I'd consider some of the custom ear molds, but I have piercings (permanent BattleField Acupuncture fix for chronic pain, but that's another story) and it looks like that would cause hassles with the ear molds.
TL: DR - will the inline mic switch on earbud lines cause hassles with helmet-mounted intercoms at all?
