e-3 plug review goldwing 1500 trike

Hi Guys

well over winter i did much maintenance on down time , all went very well.

i attempted timing belt change with help of some great videos, while i was there i replaced stock plugs with e-3 plugs , thought maybe i would get little better mpg, power... .

well bike ran great , was pleased all went well, but wait ,my first tank of gas i was getting 22-23 mpg, wow, normal always 28-34 well except at 80mph.

i was shocked, so another tank went to 93octane ,again 23mpg
now 2nd guess my timing belt change , could i be off a tooth, but ran so good?

so apart it went , pretty fast at all that plastic now, & checked & rechecked timing,adjusted belt a little , put back .

next tank worse 19mpg

checked for vacuum leaks, carbs,,,,,

pulled apart , put back stock plugs, ran a tank of gas & 33 mpg huh

e-3 plugs suck , all there marketing well got me

moral is DON"T use E- PLUGS !!!!!!!!!!

I bit at the hype too in my 98 Ram. Not only did mileage suffer but. so did power. Went back to my Bosch Platinums.
