Getting ready to install V&H power dual headpipes, deluxe slip-ons, SE air cleaner, and V&H Fuelpak. Fuelpak instructions say you can disconnect the O2 sensors by installing their "competition connectors". Has anyone does this and if so, what does it get you- more power, cooler running, or what. Would this change the map they provide? Help.

my mods are all different from yours, but I did remove the sensors and just plugged up the holes. more power less heat and a map designed specifically for my set up. not sure how the sensors play a roll in all that off or on.

the ECM MONITORS THE FUEL AIRR RATIO BY USEING THE O2 SENSORS. and comapiring the air mixture in front of the CAT and just after the the cat. plug the o2 sensors only if you are going to have the ECM re-maped. you can go to NAPA & THEY HAVE A UNIVERSAL O2 SENSOR SOCKET 1/2" . & plug the o2 sensor holes just before you remap the ecm. my opinion.that year trike? in or out of warrenty.?
