As I mentioned in my intro post (new members) I am/was considering a VTX 1300 or 1800 for my next trike. well, as fate would have it, I left the house this morning to get a loaf of bread and wound up with a 1300R. Don't ask how. it just happened. (That's my story and I'm sticking with it)! I've already been in touch with those great builders in Dothan and Marge has seen to it that this build will be a Champion. I'm already in the throes of designing a paint scheme, which will probably change a dozen times between now and when it comes time to fill up the paint gun!!

:beerchug: Way to go! A great choice in bike and kit! And you've got a great builder too :D.

Congrats on the Bike & Kit, Champion has a nice size trunk, so when you do bring it home, you can put a COUPLE of loaves of bread in the trunk.

Well, that didn't take very long! Outstanding choice--can't wait to see it! Don't forget the Trike Talk mantra: we want pictures we want pictures we want pictures!

Right.. Please tell me..How do you go out and buy a half loaf and end up with a bike/trike?

That's some excuse and one I will try and use in the future!!!:p

Wolf--being single helps!!

Juju--This decision agony has been going on for several months.....And I still think that the Harley V-Rod makes a better looking trike than a two wheeler. But I like the shaft drives better.

Tis--I reckon the trunk will have enough room for a jug of Dark Carribean Rum and Dr Pepper (an adult libation I call Pepper Rum) in addition to a COUPLE loaves of bread. Adult beverage to be consumed at the end of the day/ride!!!

As I live 200+ miles from Dothan, we'll have to trust "the Builders" (wouldn't want to have any one think I'm plugging a certain crew) for in progress photo's.........

Feel free to "Plug" Randy and his crew all you want, Jim. We all love 'em too! We might give them a hard time....but we love 'em :D.
