Digging the Tricycle!

Selena and I just put about 100 miles on "Big Butt Blu" as Selena calls our Tricycle, and we're digging it. I think I am going to end up with raked triple trees, though. I love the stability on the highway at speeds, but when we get into something more than a mild sweeper, the bar pressure is getting old.

We've had to do some SLOW speed maneuvering that usually left me with a knotted stomach, worrying about dumping us over, but it's a piece of cake now. Yay for three wheels!!!

Still don't have trunk release key working, but that's not a big deal. with the secondary release under the rear seat. Actually, I'm thinking of running the release up into the tour pack, and rigging a handle, then I'll only need the Kawa-Key. We probably won't be getting into the trunk without getting into the tour pack. So, why not?

Until next time, Peace!

Glad your both liking it!

BTW, adding a raked triple tree will not only make steering easier but will add stability at speed. I love the raked front end on our CSC Kruze trike. We rode one without the rake kit before we built our trike and even my wife could feel the difference.

glad your both enjoying your trike,, I have never known anyone who didn't like rake kit - i'm sure someone doesn't but i'd say 99.9% do - it made my sidecar rig fun to ride!!
best of luck
