DFT Final Drive

You apparently have a Harley trike??? There's no final drive, just a differential. Stock drive pulley is bolted to the differential. Very simple to change oil, it has a drain/fill plug....Roll trike until it is pointed down, remove plug with allen wrench and drain, then roll until the hole is pointed up and fill, replace plug. Use plastic bottle and vinyl tubing....4.5 oz of gear oil. :wave4:

Just trying to help.......I did not see in your note or profile where you mentioned the type of trike and since both the Harley and Valkryie bodies look the same I made the incorrect conclusion that you had a Harley...a bad guess on my part. If you noticed I added several question marks after I mentioned Harley? Obviously, if you have a Valkyrie you do not have a Harley DFT kit. Regardless, the final drive is not sealed, has a case built by DFT that houses the Honda stock gears and does have a drain/fill plug. Changing the oil in the differential is the same as I stated previoiusly.

Differential oil change in DFT trike

Harley approves 20/50 oil in all three holes. Is it still ok to use 20/50 in the differential?
