Decompression Solinoid

This is most likely not the place to post this thread but I'm still finding my way around thei massive site.
I am looking for somewhere to buy a Decompression solenoid for my Road Star 1600, I was quoted over $400 today and I almost fainted. Can anyone direct me to somewhere in the States I can purchase one much cheaper?.
Much appreciate any help.

this is probably to late for you and you have already purchased a new one but if not then maybe i can help you. years ago alot of people were having issues with there decom sol not working and were buying a new one, i had the same problem but not the money and pulled mine off and pulled it down and serviced it. what i found was it still worked and does to this day was that because of where they site the rod builds up road gunk and stops working. all you do is pull every part off the solenoid and clean and then lube with a good quality grease. the main part is the rod so lube it and work rod in and out a few times by hand then reassemble and hook back up to elect plug and hit the starter and just watch the rod going out and in before putting back in bike. this tip has saved a lot of money over the years for other riders.
