Dealing with BWC!

I recommend that before you go to work each day that you wrap your whole body in several layers of bubble wrap so that you can not possibly get hurt, and will never have to deal with the B. of Workers Comp! A van backed into me crushing my knee between her van and my car. I have two small fractures, massive inflammation and lost about a pint of blood into the knee from two hemotomas. I am actually doing well 6 weeks later and ready for P.Therapy. Physical therapy was denied because the orthopedic surgeon coded it wrong. It could take 20 more days to approve. So be careful you never want to deal with Workers Comp. This is my first time - sorry for venting!

Without any doubt, it is one of the most frustrating government bureaus to have to deal with (not that most of them are a joy.... ). So sorry for all of this!

Bet they add all the right code's when they give them self the big pay raises and great health care and the best retirement, each year.
Notice they are talking about cutting healthcare for older americans, sure not saying anything about cutting there own. But yet we keep voting them back in office........

I am a Business Owner, but when I had an employess in a car accident that WC should cover her injuries the first thing I told her and her husband at the ER was get a WC Attorney, for her protection.

As much as I hate lawsuits, without an Attorney WC is not going to help you because they have the mind set everyone is faking. You have a real injury and they need to provide real support.

Lawyer up Dude:banghead:

Thanks for understanding my venting!! It gets worse, I just got home and today I got a form from BWC outlining a physicians request for medical services that was marked approved but also dealt with an unpaid bill from 2009...the only problem is this form IS NOT ME - it is for a guy named Kenneth! Lunchbox - I understand what you are saying, and my husband is saying the same thing, but that is hard for me to do. The school district rep has been great doing my arguing with BWC. My hope is that BWC does a subrigation form so that the person's car insurance will pay the BWC claim so that the district does not incur any cost. Thanks for the help though.
