Dead battery, not sure why...

Installed Radiantz LED tail lights and load equalizer. Went to start trike (2012) this AM and battery was dead inspite of being on a battery tender 24/7. Any reason to believe the new lights/equalizer are at fault and somehow caused an electrical drain on the system or the security system? I remember reading something a while back about certain electrical additions would screw up the Harley security system but that was on early dressers.

Thanks for the heads up. As an experienced wrench I was simply asking about the possibility of an electrical issue with the installed lights since I have limited experience with motorcycle "computers" (I still have a harley with a carb. and no computer.)

Like Fuzzy says, go back to the last thing you worked on, That said how old is your battery? Could be just a coincidence but a cell in a battery can give up the ghost any time...And some tenders will show a full charge till you hit the starter button then go dead..

:Agree:I had a 5 month old battery croak while on a battery tender. One week it ran, a couple weeks later it wouldn't even make the starter click. Took the bike to the dealer who tested the batter and replaced it under warranty due to a bad cell.
