CVO owners

On normal riding days, just remember we have no hills down here in Florida I''m getting 39-41 mpg on the back roads with 45-60 mph speed limits. When we were in Maggie Valley riding the twisties I got between 35-37 mpg, we have not done any interstate riding.

My non CVO 114 gets a firm 30 no matter what......

YMMV

Mileage on 117

I get around 34 MPG on a 21 CVO. This is in town and freeway. I ride 75 to 80 on Utah freeways. Also hard throttle from stops. Had a 21 Triglide Ultra before the CVO and I got the exact same mileage. Are heavy machines with terrible wind resistance with the huge fenders. Hell with mileage, just enjoy.

I agree with the smiles per mile priority.

However, it is nice to know how far you can go between gas stops, and with the price per gallon rising, it is becoming more of a factor when you ride a lot.

CVO's should get right around the same as a M8 114, better than a Twin Cam, all else being equal.

Here's a vid we just did-
