Anyone ever done chile using pulled beef roast instead of ground beef? I put an average beef roast in the crockpot (I season with garlic powder and onion) and slow cook till tender. Chop/pull it and dump it in the chile. Its very good and something different.
 
I also like pulled pork in my chili sometimes for a twist.
Have also used ground turkey mixed with Chili oil and let to stand overnight in icebox
Also have used baked and pulled Turkey or Chicken Breasts.

also have added black beans to my chili.
