CB Error

I have a 2013 goldwing roadsmith trike. I am having problems with the cb. I can hear others speak although crackely but as soon as I push the talk button I get the black CB Error on the dash. Once I turn off the cb and back on that goes away. If I am riding the bike the faster I go the worse the cb sound is. I was told it is probably a ground issue but it looks like it is grounded in the trunk. Is there something else I can look for or test to see what works?

DOn't know if this might be your problem or not but I was having similar problems on my 2008 Gold Wing. I knew the battery was about due to croak and, coincidentally, just as soon as the new battery was put in the CB began working perfectly again...did not know there would be a correlation between the two, just knew that the battery was about to die. Been working great ever since.

Hope you find a simple fix soon.

Try a reboot by reloading the commands by disconnecting the battery, check your connections @ your antenna

I had the same problem and like Paws said , the cure was getting a new battery.
