Is there any type of blue book for trike values?

I have someone looking to buy mine but they was wondering how to convince their banker to loan them more than what the standard 2 wheel bike is worth.

Thanks

Ask your local bank what they need. Maybe all you need to do is go to a couple of local trike dealers and ask for a resale value in writing.

I don't think NADA, or Kelly list trikes unless possibly the HD Triglide...at least I haven't seen any that listed trike conversions. I'd like to find one that did since I'm in the market for a trike and don't like the idea of offering someone a price for a trike that might be so low as to insult the person selling it. In fact I declined to make a guy an offer just this past week for just that reason. We don't have any trike dealers in my area, and very few trike riders; so there aren't many people to get information from.

I think a pretty good rule of thumb is.
Kelly book book for the bike + 50-75% of the trike kit cost + 10-25% of the accessories is a pretty close realistic value.

But a banker needs somehting in writting to justify the loans he is making.
