I've put a Bike MP3 Player on my 06 GL1800. Because my 06has a GPS I can only put 6 “CD’s” per SC Card.
Can anyone tell me what size SD card I need to us for the player?
The instructions say that I can only put 99 songs per "CD" on the SDcard. Is that because there are only 2 number places on the dash available todisplay what number song I am on on a particular CD? What happens if I put a 32Gig SD card can I put 1500 songs on that SD card can I listen to all of them?
Here is what I bought. http://www.bikemp3.com/GL1800-Digital-Music-Player-V3-HGW-IPD-V3P.htm
Thanks all for your help

Hi Kent. So as you know I don't have an 1800 and I don't have a Bike MP3 but in reading the wesite you included in your post I see where it says that you can only use an 8 gig SD or USB stick. If I understand what they are saying you can put up to 6 folders per card or stick. and each folder can hold 99 up to 99 files depending on the size of each file.So that is 592 songs per sd card.
Have you called or emailed them for their recommendations or help? Sounds like a neat set up for your bike and I like the addition of the xm radio

Hi Paul and nice reading from you.
I did find out where it said am 8 gig card but I'm still wondering about the numbers and such. I have one 8 gig card and guess I ought to buy more.
Thanks
Kent

That is what I did, I kept several SD cards with different types of music. Since each card would hold so much rarely did I have to change sd cards other than wanting something different.
