Best Guess Shipping A VW Trike

Looking for 1st VW Trike & found something 2800 miles West of me. I've not contacted the owner cuz I know his asking price but shipping costs could change that and put it entirely out of my price range. Trike aprox 5'x10.5" no idea of weigh and 2800 miles driving distance.
So folks please please make a guess. What would ur guess be??

I was quoted $350 to ship a trike from Grand Rapids,Michigan to Tampa, Fl.

There is a company called "Uship.com"---they submit your shipping needs to many transport companies and those companies bid on your moving job.

Just check out the company's reviews.

If that trike doesn't work out for you, I have a great running VW trike that I am selling AND---I am only 1450 miles away from you.

I am waiting for my trike to arrive from Post Falls, ID. I live in Lake City, Pa. ABOUT 2200 miles and I was charged
1220.08 total cost door to door. Call Scott OR Sandy at 920-420-1705 (cell number).

My trike is 79" at the tires and 12' long weighing 1500 lbs.

They transport in a 46' ENCLOSED gooseneck trailer.

OK drumdoctor & ErieBigDawg, well I'd made a guess that it'd be around $1500 or so. So don't know how I feel about that. Wish I could get it done for 5/6 hundred but then I wish lots of things. I sure as heck would/couldn't do it for 5/6. I estimated it'd be around 700 just for gas one way with a u-haul then tolls/food/ect. Oh well........still thinking. Tnx for replies.

A nice guy with great equipment.

He charges $1.oo per mile.
