Maybe I am just late to the party, but it appears as if BDL has developed an open belt drive for the Milwaukee Eight platform. I am having trouble getting example installations except the one below (and I have no specifics on it...it came off of eBay) but there are several folks offering them for sale in black, chrome, and polished.... Here are some pictures. I will post more as I learn more...

This is a compilation from Denis Kirk, J&P, and America Cycle Products Descriptions....

Part # EV2PH-B17

- Features a bolt-on two-piece motor plate design - This new kit features a 52/69 pulley combination for a 1.32:1 final drive ratio connected by a 2 in. wide K Glass belt

- Belt profiles are unique to each kit, requiring matched pulleys for each belt; pulleys may not be interchanged- Front pulley face and spring collar have a matching pattern to the rear pulley- Front pulley cover is counter-bored for a super-clean appearance- BDL's rear basket assembly with Kevlar clutch plate set, Billet clutch hub, and their new 6-bolt ball bearing pressure plate for a more firm feel and improved appearance, is equipped with throw out bearings for your the O.E.M. hydraulic clutch (or the AIM unit .... That was for Jack K. and MDO)

- Springs and spring collar are enhanced for more positive lock-up engagement, great for big-inch/high-horsepower motors

- This kit comes with two screw-in shift shaft cones, one for toe shift only riders and one for the heel/toe-shift crowd.- The unit has a trimmed down side guard, top belt guard and a semi open rear dome clutch cover

If anybody else has additional info.... I bet we'd love to hear about it....
