Battleax BT 45 on GW Trike

08 GW Trike W/O ABS and I run 40# of air in it.
Tire is cupping real bad on left side. Is it possible to just turn the rim around or do I need to have the tire remounted in the opposite direction. Good idea, Bad idea or just plain stupid idea??

Do not flip the tire. Bad idea. The tread design will be backwards and the tire will bounce.
How many miles and how old is the tire ?
Should replace it.
