Battery replacement

Are you handy? If not, do what I do and take it in. How many miles on your trike? If time for a maintenance check, try to do it then.

I would do that but it is in my garage and the battery will not take a charge. I have 2,800 miles on it. I am very mechanically inclined with nearly every tool you can think of. I know I have to take the passenger seat off to get to the battery. I didn’t want to jump in and start taking things off that I didn’t need to. All YouTube’s I have found has the seat already removed. I was hoping someone could direct me to a site with easy to follow instructions. Thank you very much for the reply.

Are you saying you don't know how to take the seat off??? I have a 2018 and still have the same battery, always on a tender when not driving it. Sounds like you had better invest in a manual, do you have a jump starter if yes do it that way to get started then take it to the dealer and have battery replaced.

The screw for the seat is behind the seat, lift tour pak and you can see it better, take screw out then pull seat off, be careful on taking screw out sometimes you can drop it and then it might be hard to find.

All for now Trampas

At the rear of the seat is a soft flap rase it up and look down you’ll see a big flat head screw just remove it with a long screw driver and pull the seat rearward a little to lift the seat off…👍
