Hello, everyone, new to the forum. New to the Trike world. The cable that charges the battery on the bike, has the usual male, female plugs, but it also has a flat spade in the same harness. what is that used for? I have a Yausa charger that I used for years on my Electraglide. :xzqxz:

The charging cord on the tri-glides is the standard (now) polarized power plug. Most battery tenders come with them already installed, and its mate to put on your battery. The spade you see farther up the cord is a fuse. Make sure there is one installed!

The flat spade is right next to the male, female in the same plug.. I was just wondering if I could use the charger I have. Its the standard male, female pulg,no flat spade.

Standard (old) battery tender 2 pin plug mates and works fine with the 2014 3 pin plug. Just ignore that 3rd pin. :D
