Hi, I recently added side metal racks on the two fenders on my Honda Goldwing Trike. they look great, but I now want to put bags on them when I am heading out for trip, any suggestions? Thanks!

Those racks may look great but adding bags to them will create an awful lot of wind drag making the engine work harder and knocking down your mpg. I thought about doing exactly that but for those reasons changed my mind.

I thought about that also just looking for more usable and accessable starage while underway. We finally decided we were overthinking on this and just forgot about the whole idea. Turns out we don't need more stuff.

If you really need to carry more "stuff", how about something like the Packit Rack that just plugs into your 1.5" hitch tube. You can get a "generic" carry platform for about $50. And it won't add to the wind resistance.

I have been using the pakit rack system for a year now. It is really a cool add on. This is on my 2 wheel version of my GW. I just ordered the rack itself for my CSC trike. Already had the other stuff, locking bar and bag. The bag will hold as much as the GW trunk easily with pockets on the sides, front and a rain cover in the rear.
If you are going to use the fender rails to add for storage you need to make a support underneath so the weight will be evenly distributed instead of the mounting points only.
