Avon Cobra Chrome trike tire

These have been unavailable for quite some time. I just received notice from Revzilla that they are now in stock. Since the major retailers all pull from the same sources I imagine it will be available at J P Cycles, Dennis Kirk, Cycle Gear, Drag Specialties, etc., also.

If you don't mind me askin'...How many miles did you get on the Avons? Did you not like them? And are you reversing a rear Commander?

Reason I ask is we're planning a 4 corner trip this summer and it would be nice to not have to worry about stopping for tires at some point. Both these tires are on my short list.

I got around 20K on each of the first 2 and the 3rd was damaged after about 6K in a deer collision.

The commander is a Front tire so no to the second question.

I had no problems with the Avon tires and liked the way they handled, Just thought I would try something different with the commander and I have only got about 250 miles on it when my top end went out.

Still waiting to get it back.

How many miles on the Avon ?? Any vibrations or separation ?? They went through a ruff patch a year or so ago.
