Has anyone attempted to attach something like this to the fenders so the passenger can store readily accessible items? I'd chop off the dangly bits top and bottom before bolting to the fenders. Any downsides other than the possibility of screwing things up and making extra holes in the fender? This would be instead of the Harley trike saddle bags which are frightfully expensive.

A lot of people use these. I think there are some after market versions as well.

I'd love to go with those but $650 is more love then I want to spend.

There is a guy here that used the Harley guard bags and put them on his fenders.

Found the post - just go down to the guy with the Saddlemen bags.

tri glide saddle bags

has anybody installed the tri glide saddle bags from HD. The dealer wants 2 1/2 hours to install them. I do not want to try to install the with velcro. Thanks
