I am getting along in my build to where I am thinking of the fuel system. Seems to me like a 12 VDC fuel shutoff valve is the way to go. Called the local forklift place and <SURPRISE> they have them in stock! A little pricey at $31.50, but then again what isn't getting more expensive nowadays.

Photos follow getting them into the computer, probably tonight or tomorrow.

I used two of those solenoids on my bike. One for the regular tank and the other for the auxilary tank. Both are connected thr a 30amp relay so when the front one is on the auxilary is closed & vice versa. They work great.

I use one on my trike because I use an electral fuel pump. It will shut off the fuel when I hit the kill switch or lose power. Mine cost $22.49.
