Stopped by ATL HD yesterday while out and about...they were having a tent sale with 15% off and Harley Bucks... so we ordered the lighted tour pac spoiler and the illuminated fascia accent trim...both stop and tail...after that sale I got $90 in Harley Bucks and they let me use that toward the install of the parts...didn't look much at bikes for sale but did notice they had Freewheelers reg. 27K marked at 22K...

They need all the markup they can get to maintain those fancy boutique dealerships. Some of the dealers I've been to have major bucks tied up in the fancy buildings with fancy furnishings, it takes a lot of money to maintain an image and a lifestyle.

Im tired of looking at the foot ball shaped air box and I have been wanting a rain sock for my air breather and just use the decorative center cap. found one on line from h.d.
(part number 28728-10) by the time it gets to me it will cost as much as a metal breather cover. $40.00 for a piece of fabric. oh it does have the" Harley "emblem on it.

Dealer here (Stutsman HD) gives all local HOG chapter members 10% all parts and motorclothes for the whole year. We have Scrooge Saturday in early Dec. where you draw an envelope for anywhere between 15% to 40% off all parts and motorclothes when you checkout. We had a Ladies night on Feb. 10 and Men's night on Feb. 12 with 25% off all motorclothes with the Ladies having wine tasting and the men having beer tasting (all were regular bottles of various beers). Open house will be coming up in late March or so and it usually is around 15% off most things and 20% off on selected items plus a free hog roast with all the fixings (open to all). During the summer they put on Bike Night once a month (May thru Sept) with free food, door prizes and drawings for all motorcycle riders regardless of make of bike. Last year wife and I each won a $100. gift card at one of the Bike Nights. Dealer also has a monthly meeting during the summer for the HOG chapter members that includes a meal.

One of our North Ga. dealers ( Cartersville HD ) is have a Sale on their T-Shirts. Buy one get one 1/2 price. I'm thinking this will go to Buy one get one soon. What their not telling everyone is that they are changing their name, so they need to move the T-Shirts with the dealers name on the back.
