Another question--plug in accessory socket on the left side?

I have an auxillary power port 91843-97 socket that I had on my other bike. I looked up the install instructions and it indicated that I should plug it into the female plug located under the left panel.

when I opened it I found my battery tender cable was wired in so that it did not use either of the two plugged female connectors. Which one would I plug the socket into? And what is the purpose of the other one?

thanks

Thanks HDBOb. Still wonder why there are two connections on the left side. I have to go in and have my crash guard installed and so I'll ask them.

I'll get a kit at the same time.

Best to you.
