Just a brief note to say thank you for this forum. I am a member of Bimmerforums as well. It serves BMW owners worldwide. A lot can be said negatively about BMW owners. I won't repeat them here but, being on their forum for 2 years, they are the most editorializing group of snobs ever. If you ask a question expecting a direct answer...good luck!

Most start by answering "why do you want do do that" or "search the site". Some of these folks asking these questions are first timers to the brand. On Trike Talk, you guys give straightforward answers in a concise, polite manner. You understand that these machines can be intimidating and complicated and you want to bring more folks into the fold! Most can remember what being a newbie felt like...no matter how much snow is on the roof! Thank you for being as accomodating as you are! Scott :10:

Thank you, Scott. Of course I have zero bias :)D), but we do have the best membership in the world!

I'd advise you to not get use to the treatment you've gotten here but somehow I feel it would fall on deaf ears. You've already been ruined with all the kindness.... I guess we'll just have to keep up the same old stuff and GRIN the entire time....

Yes we complain about problems with the rides, pick at things that bother us, and from time to time we even pick at each other :Trike1: just a bit but in the end, as you've noticed, there is one heck of a bunch of folks on the board!!!

Glad you are here to help us keep on the right track.

Scott... As a Tri Glide owner and member of this forum and a BMW owner (2 wheels) and a member of several BMW forums I could not agree more with your assessments of the forums. This is by FAR the best group of folks on the internet and I feel fortunate to be a member.

I got to admit, that I have hook'd up with a few TRIKE rider's, and totally enjoyed my rides with them...BECAUSE of this forum :love:

This forum is great, I also belong to several Facebook motorcycle groups. The one thing that ruffles my feathers the worst is when someone new to a brand or motorcycling in general asks a question and people blast him or her with asinine remarks. There is not one of us who swings a leg over either a trike or two-wheeler that was born with all the knowledge in the world. Mechanical know how is learned through years of experience and some mistakes made along the way. So never be bashful about asking any question in here. And welcome to Trike Tak.
