Am I missing a crush washer?

Yes, you can get them most anywhere, check the vent on the differential while you are under your trike

Thanks Jack,

I went to four different auto part stores and none had a crush washer that fit. I stopped by a Kwik Lube oil change shop with the bolt and they gave me a washer.

I looked as best as I could at the differential and I am not sure where the vent is or what I should be checking for. Can you please fill me in?

Thanks,

Paul

Sure, if you have a vent hose, locate it and make sure it is clear, I used to remove the hose and blow thru it, some have a short hose, while others may have a long hose with an added trap at the end to keep moisture and debris out
