Aluma MCT

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

This is not mine but the MCT is a great trailer and this one is at a really good price. I've really enjoyed mine, pulls really easy with lots of room.

The seller does note that the title is still in the previous owners name...He says he has the transfer papers, But With no date... , just never did it....

Having had many problems with DMV's [One just recently] That would cause me having pause...

I have bought many things under those circumstances and never had a problem on transferring ownership in my name. As long as the prior seller executed documents correctly one should have no problem. But I understand one's concern

Wow, here in La. if you do that you will have to pay the taxes for each person it was sold to before with out a transfer and then pay the taxes again for your self again, could cost a lot in transfer fees and taxes.

It's basically like the person you're buying it from was never in the chain of ownership. As an example, I bought a classic Honda GB500 last year from a guy who bought it from a friend of his. He purchased it to help his friend who was in a cash tight. He never had any intention of registering and riding it. The title was properly signed by prior owner but with no buyer or date. It's an open title. My name, current date, no problem with transfer. I totally understand why people might be hesitant to purchase something under these circumstances though. I probably have 3 or 4 of these type purchases on my classics though.

The trailer sold about 3 days after posting, it was a really good deal.
