Well, hello from South Central Ohio. My name is Brad (TwoBye) and I have just recently joined this forum. I have owned many bikes in my lifetime and have covered thousands of miles. Including a 1958 Harley I took my drivers exam on in 1968 to my most recent GoldWing, a 1992 model. Up until just a few short years ago I thought trikes were for old folks. Then I had a few strokes, found out I had Diabetes (Adult onset type 2) and just generally got older. Now I have a new found admiration for trikes and their owner/drivers.

OK, enough about me. Let me see if I can post a picture of my newest GoldWing, a 1999 GL1500SE with a CSC trike kit (2001) and a Hannigan Sierra trailer.

Now you must forgive the picture, the trike is currently in the rear of my work place. I am the 30 yr plus parts manager at a car dealership in my hometown. So please, pay no attention to the shelfs, bins, counters or anything else other than the trike.

Here is a view from my perspective.

One of the things I am most proud are the rear fender flares. The CSC Kit came with some chrome moldings around the wheel wells but it originally had 14" tires. When winter set in I took it to the body shop where I work (these guys work magic) and we installed new 15" wheels and tires, enlarged the wheel opening to accommodate them and removed the chrome moldings and created new solid fiberglass fender flares. Another day or so trying to match the paint and voila!

I'll try to post a picture of my trailer soon. Hope you enjoyed the show ... ;) ;) :Trike1:

Nice Honda Trike. Had a 99' myself once and didn't have a problem at all with the machine. Love the color combo on your sled. enjoy "driving" your trike, for it's another experience in going down the highways.:Coffee:ThumbUp

Thanks. I had my friend (a retired Honda tech for many years) go over the trike and he seemed to think it was near perfect. We will be replacing the timing belts and all filters plus oil change, engine tune if need be plus general maintenance on the trike kit itself just to be sure. Yea, I've seen riders called everything from rider, driver, pilot, etc...

Hello Two Bye and welcome to the website from the U.P. of Michigan. You have a beautiful trike and coming from one of the " old folks " we will see how long it takes you to start smiling even AFTER the ride is done. I too like your pictures, ride safe.
