Air valve location for shocks?

Can anyone tell me where the air valve is located for the rear shocks? I'd like to check and adjust them on my Flhxxx. Is it under the seat or do I have to jack up the trike?

I've checked the bike manual and Google, and can't find it anywhere.

Thanks... Alan

I believe it is located under the right side cover.

You're kidding, right?

The manual doesn't tell you where it's at?

Under right side cover.

Is it under different sides depending on year?

All my Ultras and 2012 Limited it is under the left side cover.

It's a Harley not a Honda.

GaryD,

Believe it! Pg. 160... Shock Absorbers

"Inspect shock absorbers for leaks and rubber bushings for bushing deterioration at proper intervals."

Nuttin else...

Right side panel, High up on the frame.
50 PSI MAX., And don't use a high pressure pump, For about 45 dollars get the H/D No air loss hand air pump.

Found it on right side... thanks! Now I gotta go get pump and gauge to fit. Removed right side cover.

Check e-bay. You can find one for about $20. The you will have the pump and the gauge all in one.

Thanks everyone! For some reason, I had 0 lbs in the rear shocks. I noticed this cause I felt like I'd been bottoming out forever. I may have gotten the bike like that, but I'll monitor it to determine if there's a problem.

I ended up just going to my nearby HD dealer who is only 10 min away. Yes that pump was expensive, but I got it taken care of right away and I feel better. I will say though the the pump seems very well made.

azmerm, what year manual? I'm going to check mine when I get home. It must say somewhere otherwise I wouldn't have found it on the 2012 since all my other bikes it's on the left side.
Either that or I checked the left side and when I didn't find it there I assumed it to be on the right.

Fire the sumbitch that wrote the manual. And he didn't even have to translate from Japanese.
