I've been investigating the aforementioned topic. Here is what I have found; The "shorting Plug" mentioned in the directions (YouTubes) is SCS Service Connector 070PZ-ZY30100. The part is available on Ebay for $7.98 Free Shipping.

The instructions uses the left side saddlebag latch twice in the programing process. Since trikes don't have saddlebags what do you do? Well I discovered that CSC retains the left side saddlebag push button and circuitry for the bottom trunk release. This means the left saddlebag circuit is a live and well. I'm working on what to do when emergency starting using the code provided with each fob. The instruction for that process requires the use of the right saddlebag which trikes don't have. I'm still working on this situation. If someone knows please chime it. As far as the shorting plug it looks like that would be easy replaced with a bent paper clip.

Thoughts please.
