A Promotion

On one of the Goldwing forums I moderate, I got a 'Promotion' to Administrator (No pay increase :rofl I was a Moderator for quite some time. I cleaned up the forum of nonsense and new members came and joined and older ones look in every now and then.

I only moderate 3 forums out of 5; one died a slow painful death and the owners gave up on it and one is not worth the time.

I gave up on two Forums when they started putting Advertisements in between posts..

Confusing and extremely annoying to boot.....:gah:

Ad blockers are your friend on forums like that. I have 4 ad blockers on my Opera Browser and the Macbook Safari browser has one.

Some are getting nasty about ad blockers insisting you remove them. I just drop them completely then. Wonder if they ever figure out why no one visits. I've all but stopped watching TV for the same reason. Word of mouth is and will always be the best advertisement going. Companies could save millions if the actually have a good product. Most stuff is junk anyway. Damn I hate getting old a grumpy like this.
