Saw a pic on another forum of a new touring bike with a clutch cable. Wow. 90 deg bend in the cable, wonder how long that will last.

I know if you put to tight of bend it makes the cable stiff to operate. Now i have been wrong once before ( dont ask the wife lol) but i cant see HD going backwards, but if they do i would convert mine over because i have never been a fan of the hydraulic clutch.

Was a the dealer yesterday, they had 4 touring bikes on the showroom floor. The clutch cable didn’t have that severe bend like the on pic I saw. More of a smooth bend with the adjustment area on the right leg of the frame. To me the pull was slightly lighter than my current tri.

The less bends in a cable will give a smoother action and longer life to the cable
