2017 Triglide Milwaukee 8 107 blew up 56000 mi.

Catastrophic engine failure, that's going to be expensive to replace. I wonder what part failed? Can you explain what lead up to the failure? Noise, smell, loss of power?

2017 blew up.
my 2017 had bad ass sumping problems twice (google that if you dont already know) 1st time pistons, cylinders, rings and second time whole new engine. once oil starts foaming from sumping oil cannot be pumped and motor "blows up" so to speak!! Maybe his problem may be different. Picture shows one of the several sumping problems being a longer plug that may be driven too deep at the factory restriction return oil flow. I also know Harley went through several oil pump revisions. My background is product development and Harley dropped the ball on complete new engine testing and adequate R&D prior to introducing the M-8. I lost 6 months of riding from that in 2017 and 2018.Screenshot (119).png

Post#18 sounds logical. Today products are rushed to market with limited testing and the consumer becomes the final tester.
