2017 Tri Glide purchase questions

Hi, I’m considering buying a 2017 Tri Glide with 25,000 miles in it. Lots of accessories. Engine is stock except for cat removed. Suspension upgraded to Legend shocks.

What questions should I ask the owner and what can I expect to have to do to the engine etc.

Thanks, Paul

Make sure it has the primary vent installed to combat transmission oil transfer…That’s a must on 2017’s…

I have a 2017. It’s been a great bike. The vent is easy to install if it hasn’t been done yet. You can check for open recalls with the VIN number on Harley’s web site.

Does it have an extended service plan? This is a must have IMO. They are a little more expensive if there has been a period of no coverage after the warranty expired. Maybe use this to negotiate?

I would be on the phone with Jim Palmer about an extended warranty plan
