2015 Freewheeler rear brakes

Hi Glenn, sorry I can't help with advice on the job itself but if I was going to fit new pads I would try and find some which make as little brake dust as possible, maybe someone like EBC. My rear wheels are always covered in brake dust and eliminating as much as possible would be high on my list if I was replacing them, good luck

You will have to slacken your parking brake before pushing the pistons in. Flush the rear brakes good. Before pushing the pistons in remove some of the fluid from the master cylinder. The fluid level will rise as the pistons go in. EBC are very good pads and come with new hardware. Here is your rear brakes exploded view. Clean and lube #1 pins

I will be putting on new rear brake pads and was wondering if there is any thing special or problems I should be looking for when I do them. First time doing them. Thanks

EBC brakes = less dust than stock. But, I would do Lyndall Racing Brakes. Much less dust than even EBC & very good in rain. Used for years on 2 wheelers, would have had on my 16 Tri, but they had quit trikes,so EBC were on it. Well they started making pads for Trikes again. https://lyndallbrakes.com/

When the 20 needs brakes The Lyndall "Gold pads" will be on it. Best I have ever had .

Agree. Lyndall is best I’ve used and will again.
