While removing the two bolts on the sidemount bracket that covers the pivot shaft that is located behind the passengerfloor boards, it turned and popped off. Anyone know how to rotate the rubber mount under the bracket so the notchin the bracket lines up with the rubber notch? Manual has instructions on remove and reinstall the shaft but wanted toknow if there’s a way to turn the rubber mount. Right now it won’t move and am trying to get some ideas.

Are you saying it turned the whole shaft, even on the right side ?:AGGHH:

If the incident is isolated just to the left side you can use a socket and breaker bar on both sides to break the shaft loose. This will allow you to rotate the bushing into position. You may need to move the back of the transmission up and down with a pry bar to center the bushing where it belongs. Install the retainer onto the bushing properly and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts and then tighten the shaft.

If the right side is involved, it may take 2 people to accomplish the job of getting the bushing back into place.

Does anyone know if there is a better replacement grommet that will hold up for the swing arm pivot shaft on a 2014?

so your bearing was OK and you just pulled the outer rubber gromet out and reinstalled ?

I had to remove the two bolts that hold the side plate on and when I did the plate popped off. Could not line up the grove in the grommet and the side plate. Just rotated the grommet after I did what I wrote before.
